I got into Eurovision in 2022. I was looking for new music, put on the final, and it felt like watching the best VMAs performance ever, 25 times in a row. A year later I was dancing to “Cha Cha Cha” with my friends at the Euroclub in Liverpool. By day I’m a brand marketer, so I’m usually wondering what a song cost to stage, and whether my best friend’s mom would vote for it.

Staging I still think about
“We Will Rave,” Austria 2024
The country I always root for
Portugal
Should have won its national final
“Hitaammin hautaan,” Finland 2025
The year I’d go back to
Lisbon 2018

Why we started this

Eurovision deserves better than once a year.

We've always thought Eurovision deserved more than the “look how weird Europe is” treatment it usually gets over here.

Every May we'd watch the Grand Final, then spend the rest of the year piecing the story together from European fan sites written for people who had already seen every national final. So we started the show we wanted to hear, one that knows the contest well and isn't embarrassed to love it.

We'll still argue about staging, voting and the occasional baffling broadcaster decision. We just do it as fans.

The show

A Eurovision podcast, made in America.

The stories behind the songs, the countries and the contest, from two fans who think Eurovision deserves more than one night a year.
