Yes. Americans vote online at esc.vote in the “Rest of the World” vote. In 2026 it cost €0.99 per vote, with up to 10 votes per payment method, and all Rest of the World votes together count as one extra country.
How the “Rest of the World” vote works
America doesn't compete in Eurovision, so American votes go into the Rest of the World vote. Votes from every country that isn't in the contest are added together and count as if they came from one extra country, giving out points just like a participating country's audience vote.
So your vote really does count. It just counts as part of a big, worldwide pool.
Where and how to vote
- Go to esc.vote, the official online voting site.
- Watch the recap of the performances (the site asks you to before voting opens).
- Pick your songs and pay by card.
The 10-vote limit is new: for 2026 the EBU cut the maximum from 20 to 10 votes per payment method, to encourage people to spread their support across more songs.
Coming in 2027: the EBU says public voting will move entirely online, and voters will be asked to pick more than one entry. We'll update this guide with the details before Burgas. More on the 2027 rule changes →
When voting opens
Here's how the window worked in 2026. Expect something similar in 2027, but check the official site that week.
- Semi-finals: voting opens around midnight Central European time on show day (about 6 p.m. Eastern the evening before) and stays open until the show starts. It pauses during the performances, then reopens after the last song for about 18 minutes.
- Grand Final: voting opens around midnight Central European time on the day of the final, closes when the show starts, then reopens before the first song and stays open until about 40 minutes after the last one.
The easiest move: vote during the live show, after you've seen every performance.
Juries count too
Since 2026, professional juries are back in the semi-finals, so both the semis and the Grand Final are roughly half jury, half public vote. Juries also grew from five to seven members per country.
