How it works
There are no semi-finals this year, just one Grand Final. Songs can be up to three minutes long with no more than six people on stage, the same limits as the European contest. The result is split 50/50 between professional juries and the public.
The contest is run by the European Broadcasting Union with Voxovation and Thailand's S2O Productions. Thailand's Channel 3 is the host broadcaster. Australia isn't taking part.
Can Americans vote?
Maybe. The national selections had a “Rest of the World” vote open to viewers anywhere, with eight free votes each on eurovisionasia.com/vote. Grand Final voting hasn't been announced yet. We'll update this guide when it is.
