Terms of use.

The ground rules for using our site, our show and anything you send us.

Last updated October 3, 2026

These Terms of Use cover your use of americandelegation.com, our podcast, our newsletter and our social media accounts (together, the “Services”). The Services are run by AD Media, LLC (“we,” “us” or “our”). By using the Services, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Services.

1. We're independent and unofficial

The American Delegation is an independent fan media project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), the Eurovision Song Contest, Junior Eurovision or any broadcaster, and we don't represent the United States or any government. “Eurovision,” “Eurovision Song Contest,” “Junior Eurovision” and related names and logos are trademarks of their owners. We use those names only to describe what we cover.

2. Our content

The episodes, guides, writing, graphics and design on the Services belong to AD Media, LLC or the people who licensed them to us. You're welcome to listen, read, share links and quote short excerpts with credit and a link back. Please don't republish whole episodes or articles, sell our content or present it as your own without our written permission.

3. What you send us

When you send us a song pitch, question, comment, idea or other message (a “Submission”), through our forms, by email or on social media:

  • You give AD Media, LLC a free, non-exclusive, worldwide, permanent license to use, edit, quote, read on air and publish your Submission in the podcast, on the site, in our newsletter and on social media, with or without crediting you by name.
  • We don't pay for Submissions, and sending one doesn't create any obligation for us to use it, reply to it or keep it confidential. Please don't send anything you consider confidential.
  • We may receive similar ideas from other people or have them ourselves. If we cover a topic you also suggested, that doesn't mean we owe you anything.
  • You confirm that your Submission is yours to share and doesn't break any law or anyone else's rights.

If you'd rather we not use your name, say so in your Submission and we'll leave it out.

4. Our mailing list

If you join our mailing list, we'll send you emails about new episodes, guides and Eurovision news. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

5. Using the Services

Please don't use the Services to break the law, send spam, harass anyone, interfere with how the site works, or scrape or copy content in bulk. If you're under 18, use the Services only with a parent or guardian's permission.

6. Our guides are general information

We work hard to get dates, prices, voting rules and broadcast details right, but Eurovision changes often and official sources can update without notice. Our guides are general information, not professional, legal or financial advice. Always check the official source before you buy tickets, book travel or spend money. We aren't responsible for decisions you make based on our content.

We link to other websites, including official Eurovision sources, broadcasters and ticket sellers. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, policies or practices.

8. Disclaimers and limits on liability

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the fullest extent permitted by law, AD Media, LLC and its members will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page. If you keep using the Services after an update, you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the state where AD Media, LLC is organized, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
